Prudential Florida WCI Realty acquires Prudential Sechrest Realty
Prudential Florida WCI Realty has made its fourth realty acquisition in the last 90 days and has entered the Broward County market. For an undisclosed amount, Prudential Sechrest Realty, located at 1137 S. University Drive in Plantation, Fla. is the latest of the company's acquisitions. "Prudential Sechrest Realty has established a strong, successful reputation in the Broward County area since 1989, and we are proud to welcome its talented management team and more than 30 real estate agents into the Prudential Florida WCI Realty family," said Roger Herman, vice president and broker for Prudential Florida WCI Realty. "Prudential Sechrest Realty fits the profile the company has established to meet its overall growth plan within Florida. With this recent acquisition, Prudential Florida WCI Realty now has a presence in more than nine major Florida market areas with a professional team of more than 500 real estate associates. An acquisition of this size makes Prudential Florida WCI Realty one of the dominant players in west Broward County. We are growing quickly statewide and will continue to make these types of transactions to establish Prudential Florida WCI Realty as the dominant real estate brokerage statewide," adds Herman. The Prudential Sechrest Realty office currently is fully-equipped with the latest high-speed Internet technology and boasts a Web site at www.sechrestrealty.com which offers virtual tours of its listings. This office serves customers in most of Broward county including the Plantation, Fort Lauderdale, Weston, Cooper City, Coral Springs, Davie, Lauderhill, Margate, Miramar, Pembroke Pines, and Sunrise market areas.
"And this is only the beginning. We plan to lead the Florida real estate industry into the 21st Century providing the tools that will be required in the ever changing marketplace to take our associates to the next level of their professional careers," said Herman.
According to Milt Flinn, senior vice president of the WCI Real Estate Services Division, the response to the partnership between Prudential and WCI continues to be affirmation of the importance of brand image. "In the near future, we will be announcing several other acquisitions, which match our luxury market profile. Market and industry reaction to having a company with the capital of a large organization, yet the flexibility of a small company to respond to local market conditions, has been remarkable."
