TWS Hosts Successful Annual Conference; More Than 120 Attendees Convene for Informational Sessions; Discussion
CLEARWATER, Fla. -- TWS Systems, Inc., a leader in ATM management and transaction processing solutions for financial institutions and the first company to offer total deposit automation with imaged-ATMs, hosted its 14th Annual client conference at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort in Clearwater, Fla., attracting more than 120 executives from institutions using TWS' technology.
Highlights of this year's conference included dynamic discussions about the latest technology and business trends, sharing of client success stories and communication of new product announcements and product updates. In addition to educational sessions on operational efficiency, fraud and Check 21 strategies, the conference provided executives a forum for exchanging ideas and information.
"During the break-out sessions, I received some very valuable information that will give the credit union an even greater competitive advantage moving forward," Cynthia Schroeder, attended from Wright-Patt Credit Union, said. "My main goal for this year's conference was to learn more about Check 21. TWS' knowledgeable staff helped me to accomplish that goal and provided important information on preventing fraud and leveraging image exchange."
The TWS Best Practices Institute, a training center where current and future clients learn about TWS solutions, will incorporate all of the best practice models developed during the conference to create training standards. Training sessions range from one day for existing customers wanting to learn more about the latest software upgrades to two weeks for new customers.
"The value of forming a business partnership with TWS is their willingness to listen to the client and develop systems and processes that are truly best practices," William Gibbs, records supervisor at Newport News Shipbuilders Credit Union, said. "This year's conference provided attendees the opportunity to meet other users and get their unique perspectives. This type of feedback is precisely what I needed."
President of TWS, Milton King, said, "The theme of this year's conference was 'Sharpening Your Competitive Edge.' As the industry moves closer to Check 21, knowing how to fully leverage technology is imperative to a financial institution's success. TWS is committed to providing our clients with superior technology and service, as well as giving industry insights and business intelligence needed to put together a Check 21 strategy. This year's conference far exceeded our expectations for attendance, client feedback and educational value."
TWS, a Microsoft Certified Partner, developed the first feasible system to capture information directly from ATMs and quickly subject it to a fraud detection tool once the ATM accepted the image. Its solutions help financial institutions reduce ATM deposit processing costs and incidents of fraud. All of the company's products are Check 21 compliant.
"TWS always puts on a great conference, they are the leading edge in terms of new technology and industry mandates, but most importantly they listen to their customers," Drena Kozlowski, ATM telecom manager for SAFE credit union, said. "I look forward to next year's conference."
Next year's conference is scheduled for May 17-20, 2004 in Clearwater, Fla.
