Cash johnny music video

Johnny Cash has been receiving rave reviews for his newest music video. "Hurt," written by Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor, has been hailed by many as the best video of the year, including Rolling Stone Magazine and the CMT Flameworthy Video Music Awards. The latter honored him on April 7 for his contributions to American music. The video is emotionally charged as it shows clips of a youthful Cash in the early stages of his career and the present day legend, full of scars from a hard-lived life.

We're hoping that actor Joaquin Phoenix looks good in black, because he'll be wearing a lot of it as he plays Johnny Cash in a new film about the country legend. Walk the Line, directed by James Mangold, will center around Johnny's younger years and Memphis as things started to heat up for him and country music. Reese Witherspoon will play a young June Carter. The Fox 2000 film project is scheduled to start production in the fall.
