Your original recipe could be worth up to $400, and winning recipes will be entered to win the 2005 annual Grand Prize--a Miele coffee system, dishwasher, and vacuum. Enter your original recipes (recipes that have never before been published) in our Prize Tested Recipes[R] contest, which features two new categories each month. We'll publish each month's four winning recipes (the top two recipes in each category) in a future issue.

PARTY APPETIZERS: Finger food for the buffet and pre-dinner nibbles are what we're seeking. Hot or cold, entries can include ingredients such as fruit, veggies, meat, seafood, poultry, nuts, or cheese. Dips, spreads, toppings for crostini or toast, spicy nut, and seafood cocktail are all good beginnings.
EIGHT FOR THE SLOW COOKER: Share your family-tested slow cooker main dish or side dish recipe that contains eight or fewer ingredients. Ideas can range from chilis and stews to roasts and chicken dishes and vegetable side dishes. Water, salt, and pepper don't count.
